General PurposeThe Payroll Analyst is responsible for the testing and implementation of updates and enhancements to payroll system functionality, maintenance and reconciliation of payroll data, and research and resolution of payroll issues.Responsibilities

• Audit, research, analyze and resolve payroll issues involving over/underpayments, time admin codes, commutation, education assistance, workers' compensation, military supplement pay. Update payroll documentation and provide guidance to other staff as necessary.
• Extract and analyze data to respond to internal and external requests and to complete regulatory filings and reports.
• Perform payroll accounting calculations and other duties relating to reporting requirements.
• Identify repayments required by company policy; issue demand for repayment and track outstanding liabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related EC-SAP replication issues.
• Enter payroll related transactions in the payroll system.
• Assist in payroll administrator duties as needed.
• Provide payroll support to employees. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business/accounting or related field or the equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Minimum of one year of payroll administration or accounting experience.
  • Analysis skills including gathering and analyzing financial or economic data.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet applications when conducting analysis and financial/economic modeling.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to resolve internal/external customer issues.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team. In addition Mid level requirements include;
    • Minimum of three years of payroll administration or accounting experience.
    • Basic knowledge of GAAP, Company accounting principles, procedures, practices, and Company accounting systems.Additional InformationReq Id: 113454
