• The Surgical Assistance Director oversees PAs, NPs, CSFAs, and RNFAs.
• Responsible for overseeing the performance of Physician Assistants (PAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Certified Surgical First Assistants (CSFAs), and Registered Nurse First Assistants (RNFAs).
• Provide backup as needed and perform duties aligned with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Recruit, hire, and train staff, ensuring a smooth integration into clinical practices.
• Deliver both formal and informal performance feedback, nurturing a culture of recognition and professional growth.
• Address ongoing learning needs and provide valuable educational experiences.
• Keep staff informed on healthcare trends and technological advancements.
• Coordinate preceptor assignments for APPs and facilitate APP student placements.
