We invite you to learn more about our wonderful community: Your Role With Us:The Orthopedic/Joint Replacement Center of Excellence RN cares holistically for each patient and their family. We provide care for patients with fractures, orthopedic trauma, and elective orthopedic surgeries, and have an extremely successful and busy total hip and knee joint replacement program. Salem Health was the first hospital in Oregon to achieve Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification for both hip and knee replacements, and has maintained certification throughout each subsequent recertification cycle. Care is provided following evidence-based clinical pathways, and in close collaboration with therapy services, medical providers, care managers and other ancillary services.   Background/Expertise:

  • Requires BSN or non-nursing Bachelor's Degree with MSN. Bachelor of Arts in nursing also accepted. Candidates with an Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) also encouraged to apply. *ADN graduates with less than 5 years of acute care experience required to sign agreement to complete BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience required.
  • Unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon required one week prior to hire date.
