Job Description:

  • Will float to less or like units when needed where qualified
  • Medication System: Omnicell
  • Our team approach is family centered and includes daily multidisciplinary rounding, as well as physician team rounds at the bedside with the family and the nurse
  • Our facility provides private rooms for patients/families, playrooms, family lounge, classroom and an outside courtyard
    • Job Requirements
    • Inpatient Pediatric RN experience
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Ventilator Management
    • Dialysis
    • Total care
    • Spinal fusions
    • Lumbar drains
    • Externalized ventricular device
      • Schedule Information
      • Rolling start dates, only 2 candidates per orientation acceptable
      • There will be 1 (12hr) orientation day
      • Shift Details: 12 hours
      • Orientation day will be variable - dependent on unit's preceptor availability for that week
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Pediatric Acute Care Medical (PACM) provides Acute Care level care for patients 0-21 years of age
          • Additional Details
          • 48 hours review time - reviewed by the facility for approval
          • Charting system- Epic (strong EPIC needed)
          • Scrub color- Any
          • Candidates must be away from any/all OHSU facility for at least six (6) months before they may return
